Susan Tam - Communications Website
Susan graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree and is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Community Health Nursing at D’Youville College. She is also certificated in Community Health Nursing with the Canadian Nurses Association.
Her early exposure to the RNAO has inspired her to become a strong advocate, speaking out on emerging issues that impact health, health care and nursing. She has participated in various activities, such as writing letters to key stakeholders, planning professional development events/workshops, educating high school students about the nursing profession, and supporting the work of her local RNAO chapter.
Susan has worked as a Public Health Nurse in the Vaccine Preventable Diseases and Healthy Babies Healthy Children programs. She currently facilitates prenatal and parenting classes.
