Jennifer Tonn - President Elect

Jennifer Tonn, RN, BScN, CCHC(C)

Jennifer is a Public Health Nurse at the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, currently working in the area of Chronic Disease Prevention – Tobacco.  She has also served as a Project Coordinator for the RNAO Smoking Cessation Best Practice Initiative and a Community Health Centre Liaison for the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit.

Jennifer is currently the President elect for CHNIG.  She has previously held the roles of OPHA Liaison and Professional Practice Lead for Public Health.

Jennifer has an Honours Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from York University, and is certified in Community Health Nursing with the Canadian Nurses Association.  She has also earned a Tobacco Treatment Specialist Certificate from the University of Toronto.
