BACKGROUND
Beatrice McDonough was an inspiring public health nurse who gave her time and attention to those in the greatest need, both on and off the job. She was an advocate for community health nurses and contributed to the Community Health Nurses’ Initiatives Group as a Board member for a number of years.
Bea was an advocate for those who experienced greater health disparities, such as seniors, immigrants, and the poor.
