You are invited to [RNAO] Addressing Substance Use Champions Level 2 Virtual Workshops, on multiple session dates as listed above in the promotional flyer.

Description

The RNAO Addressing Substance Use Level 2 Virtual Workshop consists of 2 sessions, each being 2 hours in length use the Zoom platform; these live sessions must be completed in sequential order by Novmeber 25, 2021 in order for you to become a Mental Health Champion and receive your Champion’s certificate.  

Workshop prerequisite:  Completion of Mental Health and Addiction Level 1 workshop or the Engaging Clients Who Use Substances e-learning at https://elearning.rnao.ca/ (Under Addiction and Mental Health)

Workshop Objectives:

  1. Apply an appropriate evidence-based assessment tool to identify people with substance use disorders.
  2. Learn therapeutic interventions and techniques to treat clients with substance use disorders.
  3. Discuss approaches to integrate best practices in clinical care and organizational processes.
