22 Feb Public Health Agency of Canada Online Skills Enhancement – Spring 2013

Public health is an information-intensive field that encompasses many
disciplines. Like other health-related fields, public health knowledge
and practices continually evolve. Continuing professional development is
needed to help you maintain high levels of skills and knowledge.

One high quality resource for professional development is PHAC’s Skills
Online Program. This award-winning online bilingual program supports
public health practitioners to continue their education and strengthen
their knowledge and skills to help meet the Core Competencies for Public
Health in Canada. Skills Online offers a series of modules, some
self-directed and others guided by an online facilitator. Each module
offers the opportunity to work at your own pace.

Registration for the spring 2013 session of Skills Online will be open
from March 18 – April 14, 2013. The session start date is May 13, 2013 for
all facilitated modules. Self-directed modules are available on an ongoing
basis and registration for self-directed modules can be done at any time.
