11 Feb Celebrate Black History Month 2021!

For the month of February, CHNIG joins individuals and communities across Canada in celebrating Black History Month to recognize the struggles and accomplishments of Black Canadians and their communities. We acknowledge their transformative work, especially the work of Black nurses, in shaping our country.

For 2021, the national theme for Black History Month is “The Future is Now.”

You are invited to celebrate with us and RNAO by participating in Black History Month festivities to honour the legacy and contributions of Black nurses, and taking part in tackling anti-Black racism and discrimination with the RNAO Black Nurses Task Force through their webinar series: Let’s Talk about Anti-Black Racism and Discrimination in Nursing.
